I provide translation services from English to Czech and vice versa.
I do standard as well as certified translations of contracts, terms and conditions, applications to and decisions of courts, powers of attorney, or public instruments.

Professional translation services

I offer standard as well as certified translations of various types of documents, including but not limited to contracts, terms and conditions, applications to and decision of courts, public instruments (birth certificate, marriage certificate, copy of an entry in the Commercial Register, copy of an entry in the Register of Criminal Convictions, school reports, diplomas, etc.). My clients include not only legal or consulting firms, real estate agencies, or developers, but also individuals.  

Translated texts show the high level of accuracy and proficiency when using correct terminology as well as flawless style of writing. I translate texts mainly in the following fields of law:

  • civil law (incl. civil procedure);
  • commercial law;
  • labour law (incl. social security law);
  • administrative law (incl. tax law);
  • criminal law (incl. criminal procedure); and
  • international private law

Translation process includes basic proofreading of the translated text which is included in the price for one normpage of the translation. If I discover any misspelling (typing error, incorrect punctuation, and the like), I will notify you in the form of a revision or comment to the text.  

In practice, I pay attention to individual approach to both clients and translated texts. I always try to accomodate my clients as much as possible and comply with their requests to their complete satisfaction. I always assess every order in advance and agree with a client upon individual terms of performance and payment in order to ensure the highest possible quality at an affordable price.

Mgr. Linda Kapitulčinová

I am a professional translator with over five years of experience. I specialise in legal translation because it combines my two passions: law and foreign languages. I graduated in law from the Charles University in Prague where, among other things, I attended facultative courses taught in foreign languages. I also spent two semesters abroad (LLP - Erasmus programme). Furthermore, I completed the two-term course of Legal English for Interpreters and Translators, New Civil Code in Translation Practice, or Revision and Proofreading. At the end of 2017, I was appointed as a court-certified translator for the English language. Thanks to my education and constant effort to improve my knowledge and skills, I guarantee great accuracy and high quality of all translations.
